This page describes what data the Rockyt service (rockyt.app) collects and how it uses it — a tool for translating YouTube video metadata (titles and descriptions) into other languages and estimating how that affected views.

What data we collect

1. Dashboard account data

At registration — email and password (stored only as a hash; we never see or store it in plain form). When signing in with Google — email, name, and a unique Google account identifier (Google confirms you own that email; the Google access token itself is not stored at sign-in, it is used once and discarded).

2. Access to your YouTube channel

To translate a specific channel's videos, you separately, by your own action, grant the service access to that channel through Google (OAuth). We request two permissions:

• Manage channel videos (youtube.force-ssl) — to read a video's title/description and write translations as YouTube localizations. We do not delete or publish videos and do not change channel settings — only localizations and, by your separate action, the original title.
• Read YouTube Analytics statistics (yt-analytics.readonly) — to show whether views changed after translations were published, including a breakdown by country.

The token for this access is stored on our server for as long as the channel is connected in the dashboard — this is needed so you are not asked for permission again on every action. Disconnecting a channel in the dashboard ("Delete") only removes it from us and does not revoke the Google access itself — you can revoke that separately, in your Google account settings (Security → Third-party apps).

3. Video content

The title and description of the video you translate, and the generated translations into the languages you chose, are stored on the server until deleted along with the channel. For translation and title-option suggestions (CTR), this text is sent to third-party AI providers — see "Who we share data with".

4. Video thumbnails

If you run a thumbnail analysis, its image (already publicly available on YouTube) is sent, together with the title and a snippet of the description, to an AI model that returns text recommendations. The recommendations are stored by us until you delete the channel.

If you additionally upload your own photo for thumbnail generation, it is sent directly to the generation service and is not stored on our servers at any stage: the file goes from your browser into processing and is deleted automatically on the service's side. Generated thumbnails themselves, on the other hand, we do store — otherwise the links to them would stop working within an hour and you would not be able to download them. They can be deleted by deleting the channel.

5. Technical data

The IP address is used briefly to protect against password guessing and abuse (rate limiting) — we do not keep a permanent IP log. Two types of cookies are used: a session cookie (so you are not signed out on every navigation) and a "trusted device" cookie (stored for 60 days, so a familiar device is not asked for a confirmation code again).

6. Balance and transaction history

An internal token balance and its change history — how much was charged for which action, when. A payment gateway is not connected yet: the service does not request or store real payment data (card numbers, etc.).

Who we share data with

We do not sell data or share it for advertising. Data reaches the following third-party processors — only to the extent needed for their role:

• Google — authorization itself and all YouTube API/YouTube Analytics API calls happen directly through Google, under Google's privacy policy.
• DeepSeek — receives the title and description text for translation into the chosen languages.
• kie.ai — a gateway to OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic models. Title-option suggestions (CTR), thumbnail analysis, and thumbnail generation go through it. It receives the title and description text, the thumbnail image, and — if you uploaded one — your photo.
• Resend — sends emails from the service (confirmation code, password reset link) to your email.
• Server hosting provider (Contabo) — physically stores the application's data on its servers.

Data retention and deletion

Channel data (translations, history, statistics) is stored for as long as the channel is connected in the dashboard. To delete your data completely — including the account itself — email cerebromotion@gmail.com; there is not yet a separate self-service account deletion button in the interface.

Your rights

You can request what data is stored about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and revoke channel access at any time through your Google account settings. To do this, email cerebromotion@gmail.com.

Children

The service is not intended for people under 16, and we deliberately do not collect data from such users.

For material changes, we will update the date at the top of the page. We recommend rereading it periodically.
